Viewing RSS feeds through windows mail on vista

How can I setup to get RSS feeds from a certain website through windows mail
on vista basic? I go to the website and click the link and it gives me the
option to "subscribe using:" and gives me list of apps to use. I browse and
select windows mail and it just goes to windows mail. Never subscribes.
Any help would be great.
