viewing properties in Services directory

Went into Admin tools in Control panel; services
directory. Disabled some services. Now when I right-click
a service to view the properties, the dialogue box does
not show up. Nothing Happens when I right-click service,
then left-click properties. Yet when I try to close the
Services directory, I get a message. Please close
property screens before closing directory. I would like
to view the property screens to re-enable some of the
services, but they don't come up now. Any ideas. I tried
running in safe mode and safe mode with good config, but
it's the same

I have the same problem,,
the difference is I didn't stop any service..my windows is
w2k server!
