viewing presentation

I had a power point presentation sent to me and when I
clicked it, it automatically went into running the
presentation.

I have made some changes and now when I send it out, you
have to open or save, then click, play presentation.
Anyone know what I could be doing wrong.

You'll need to save the file as a PowerPoint show (.pps extension):

1. In PowerPoint, go to File / Save As...
2. Choose "PowerPoint Show (*.pps)" in the "Save as type" dropdown
3. Click Save
