Viewing PPT 2000 in 2003

I orginated in 2003 a PPT, sent it to a 2000 laptop, amended the PPT, saved
it on a stick, then the 2003 laptop. The PPT on the 2003 does not show 90% of
the PPT. The slides, notes are blank. The same PPT on the stick shows
everything on the 2000. Also tried saving as a PPT 95-98, 2000. same result.
Can anyone help? Thanks.

Open your copy of PPT 2003 and go to Help--> Check for updates. It will take
you to the Office Online site and you can follow the links to get the latest
Service Pack (SP). Without the fixes in the SP,, you will see this problem.

Loaded Office SP2. Did not fix the problem. Tried to copy from 2000 to 2003
again as a new presentation. The outline appeared, but blank slides. Possibly
when I get home, I will reload PPT from the CD. Anyone got any ideas?

Two ideas:

(1) Are you sure that you installed SP2? To verify this, start
PowerPoint, and choose About PowerPoint from the Help menu. The first
line has a version number, and that line should end with SP2. If it does
not end with SP2, something didn't work when you tried to install it.

(2) Try turning down Graphics Hardware Acceleration. See this link for
more information:
