Viewing Powerpoint via TV

I am familiar with Powerpoint presentation & slide show using a computer. I
would like to know if a CD can be used to view a slide show via a TV. If it
can, how is it done. I would like music included.

Currently, I have the show saved in Powerpoint directory and the music that
goes with it in a subdirectory of Powerpoint. However, if you transfer to
another disk, ie CD, Memory Stick, etc, the pointer with in the powerpoint
(that points to the drive for the music) does not change.

Thanks,
Les

To view a slideshwo on TV, I am afraid that CD can not work. You have
to turn to a DVD.

Actually, if you package to CD, in PowerPoint 2003, it just enables you
to view it on another PC without PowerPoint or PowerPoint viwer.

While a slideshow on DVD will enable you to view it on TV. But you have
to some work.
First, convert a slideshow to a video file with a powerpoint to dvd
conversion program.
Second , burn the converted video file to a DVD.

For the conversion program, you can have a look at PPT2DVD
