Viewing Pix from PC on TV

Hi all:

Hope someone has an answer. I have a Dell desktop running Windows XP
with an NVIDA GFORCE (or something close) Video Card.

Wanted to be able to view my digital pixs that are stored on my hard
drive on my TV. Hooked up an S-Video cable to the TV. Turned on the TV.

Ran the S-Video to the PC, plugged it into the S-Video connection and
turned on the PC.

It works, somewhat. I can only see the image on the TV if I drag the
Image to the far right side of my monitor so that only a tiny part of
the window is visible on my monitor. Then I have to drag it back to the
left and click for the next photo.

Same thing if I want to look at something, like say, Google Earth. Have
to sit at the monitor, call up the location I want to see drag it over
to the far right when I have a tiny edge left to "hang on to."

It works, but very much a hassle. Anyone have a cure?

Control panel > display > settings

you want to 'clone' your desktop, no 'extend' it.

O.K., I AM extending the desktop. And there is a nice little box that
lets me do that....but how do I "clone it?"

I don't see any nice little box to click for that????
