This is happening more with XP so perhaps a setting in
explorer needs to be changed. When I got to sites,
sometimes where the image should be is a red x in the
corner ....

Do I need to change a setting?

Thanks

Hi Pam,

Usually a full-to-overflowing tif folder. Control Panel/Internet
Options/General tab, click on "delete files".

In IE, Tools>Internet options...>Advanced tab. Scroll down list and check
if "Show pictures" is checknarked. If not, mark it.

Hello Pam,

This may occur if your Temporary Internet pages cache
is full, or files in the "Downloaded Program Files" folder
are Unknown or Damaged. To resolve:

In Internet Explorer, Tools-menu | Options | /General\
"Temporary Internet Files" [Delete Files]
"Temporary Internet files" [Settings] | [View Objects]
- right-click "Unknown" or "Damaged" | Remove |

If loading the page over a secure connection (https)
or accessing through http://<username:password>@<site>/
then I suggest you read this
