i'm trying to view computers in different workgroups, some people are in

can see mshome, and workgroup.

Make sure that all of the workgroups are on the same physical network
segment and in the same TCP/IP subnet.

In My Network Places, click Tools | Folder Options | View and make
sure that "Automatically search for network folders and printers" is
checked. That should cause My Network Places to show shared disks and
folders on all computers on all workgroups, although they won't appear
instantly. Click View | Refresh to update the list.

If a desired disk or folder doesn't appear, click "Add a network
place" and specify the name in this format:

\\computer\share

To access another computer directly, regardless of what workgroup it's
in, click Start | Run and type the computer's name in the box in this
format:

\\computer

To see all of the workgroups on a network, click "View workgroup
computers" and then press the Backspace key.
