viewing old messages with widows mail

just managed to get the new windows mail working on the new computer.however,
on my old computer,i was using outlook to view the emails that came via my
website.Now that i have a new computer,using windows mail,not outlook,I can
only see new emails that come in,not the old ones that are stored.How do I
access them?

Were you using Outlook or Outlook Express?

Outlook:
Windows Mail cannot import a .pst file unless Outlook is installed
on the Vista computer.

You can install Outlook, copy the .pst to the Vista computer, open the .pst
with Outlook, then you can import into Windows Mail.

Or,
If you have Outlook installed on an XP computer, import the .pst data into
Outlook Express, copy the .dbx files and .wab file to the Vista computer,
and import into Windows Mail.
