Viewing History & Temp. Files

In Windows XP how can I view the actual files and places
visited in the history and temporary internet files
folders? In Windows98 I go to windows explorer - windows -
temp. internet files or history folders and can actually
see all of the files within these folders but I cannot
seem to do this in XP.

You must show hidden files to see these.

Temp Internet files, - in Internet Options, click the Settings button in
the middle of the front page, and then View Files.

For History, in
C:\Documents and Settings\<you>\Local Settings\History
there is a folder for Today; one for each preceding day of the week,
then one for each preceding week back as long as you allow history to be
kept
