viewing formatting commands

I used to use WP many eons ago and it had a really neat
feature that allowed me to see all of the formatting
commands that I had typed (many inadvertently!) into a
document. Many of these commands were causing problems
with the document, so because I could see them I could
delete them.
Does such a thing exist with Word 2002?
