Viewing files in the Recycle Bin.

Even though I do not have the Bypass Recycle Bin property
option chosen, when I send files to the recycle bin for
deletion they are automatically deleted before I view
them.

There may be a problem with the Bin itself. Open a DOS box and type
CD C:\RECYCLER
(NTFS volumes)
or
CD C:\RECYCLED
(FAT volumes)
Find the file INFO2 and delete it. Restart the computer and see if the
files now show up.

NOTE: If your anti-virus software warns you of
a "malicious" script, this is normal if you have "Script
Safe" or similar technology enabled. These scripts are
not malicious, but they do make changes to the System
Registry.
