When making a movie from VCR clips,with the intention of burning to CD,how can I check the total size of the clips i've used in my storyline so that I know when I'm near the 700MB limit ?
My solution was to create a ten minute video with some
fades and video effects, save it in a few different
formats, and then compare the on-disk file size with
what went onto the CD. Once you have those numbers,
you can develop a ratio to use for guestimations +/-.
It's not super accurate because tehre are a lot of
variables, but it gets youj into the ballpark pretty
well.
