Hi,

I have tried to get rid of the Microsoft Viewer when
previewing JPEG's and default start to openig Microsoft
Photo editor

I typed "regsvr32 /u shimgvw.dll", this has suceeded but
i have also lost all the thumbnails for JPEG files.

Can someone tell me either:
How to re-instate the viewer -or-
Re-instate the thumbnails

You tried the suggestion I made in reply to your earlier post?

To reinstate the viewer type...

regsvr32 /shimgvw.dll

You may be able to associate .jpg files with another viewer simply by
right-clicking on a .jpg, clicking on OPEN WITH|ADVANCED, then locating
the desired program. Be sure that the "always open with" box is checkmarked.

i have tried regsvr32 /shimgvw.dll but it has not loaded
the viewer back, the thumbnails are still missing and
there is no PREVIEW on the sub-menu (r-click)

Any other ideas ?
