Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have files appear in your History that were not visited or directly accessed or viewed?

Sounds like there may be a dispute of some sort brewing, but, I'd have to
say *no*; not that I've ever heard of. Don't hold this as the gospel truth,
but I'd like to know how any site could get into the history folder or
history explorer pane if it's not been accessed.
