Is there a list of best choices to use for viewable text in Frontpage. I
believe some browsers are unable to read some of the more unusual text, so I
would like to avoid using them. Perhaps there are recommendations which are
different from the Arial and Times New Roman choices?

Your help would be appreciated.

You'd have to make a guess as to what fonts are on the machines of your users -
and you're correct in saying Times New Roman or Arial - these seem to be the most
common. If you want some way-out font include it as part of your site as a
download - but that's no guarantee your visitors will install the font (as with
any plugin or media player etc etc. ).

Unfortunately fonts and text on web pages is a client-side issue, not a
server-side one. If the browser displayed the font that resided on the server,
it'd be not problem, but it relies on what the user has on their machine, and
matches the closest to what you've used, or goes with a default like Courier or
Times Roman or whatever,.
