View within Outlook 2007 Distribution Lists

I have a large list of contacts that I need to send information to, I have
found that making many small distribution lists and nesting them into a
larger one works, but in trying to label the small lists I am having
problems. There are only two pieces of information available within the
distribution list: Name and Email.
Is there a way to add more information like Company Name?

Also, is using the DLs in this manner better or worse than sending by
Category?
Thanks!

I'd use categories.

If you want the company name to show you need to change the contact name to
include the company.

I've set up all of my contacts within different categories, how do I send an
email to all contacts within that category?

Either group by category and select the category, then Actions, New message
to... or create a view that only has the category showing and use Actions,
new message to.

Great, thanks!

One other question, is there a way to send an already existing email to the
categories (instead of creating a new one).

I am trying to send a newsletter that I created in publisher. To send that
newsletter, publisher creates the email document. Besides copying and
pasting, is there another way to send the newsletter to the contacts in a
category?

Create a view using the category you want, remove all the fields except
email address, select all and paste into the to line of the email publisher
creates.
This should give you the general idea of what to do:
