View > Layout Assistance Needed

I changed the layout to the way *I* want it, but every time mail closes, it
reverts to the default setting.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a fix?

Did you remember to click "APPLY" when you changed the settings and before
youclicked "O.K."?
