View inbox and calendar simultaneously

How can I view my inbox and calendar in the same outlook window
simultaneously? I know I can open it up in 2 separate windows, but that's a
pain. I've seen this done before, I just don't know HOW to do it. I would
like to know how for either Outlook 2000 or 2003.

I don't know how you could have seen it before because it can't be done in
the same window.
