View File Types Causes Hang

View File Types Causes Hang

Running XP SP2

When I go to Folder Options and click on File Types the file types start to
populate the panel. By the time I select one and try to modify what will
open a particular file type the window freezes-hangs throwing a DrWatson
error. Does not matter which one I point at.

Any ideas?

Hi,

This is common behavior for File Types to pause; however, not to your
extreme nor causing an error message. Which type or does it matter triggers
this? Does this only happen if hide extensions for known file types is
checked or unchecked? Also, have you modified auto for Dr. Watson?
