View Available Wireless Connections

Microsoft Help and Support say to do this:
1. Open Network Connections
2. Click the wireless network connection icon, and
then, under Network Tasks, click view available
wireless networks.
3. Choose the network from the list that appears, and
then click Connect.

My Problem is under Network Tasks, the option to
“view available wireless networks”

Any suggestions to be able to view wireless
connections?

No, under Network Tasks" -- "View Available Network Connections" is
not an option

You need to have Microsoft's Wireless Zero Configuration service started and
any other "wireless control" software stopped.
