View another calender & have their data linked to update my cal?

I need to view my boss's calender daily which as yet I am unable to do (says
my profile is not configured to support this operation) and also I would
like to know that when he updates his calender can it update mine too? When
an entry is made in his diary can it be linked to mine and update my calender?

Outlook version? Are you using Exchange as your mail server?

Updating is not built in, but viewing in an Exchange environment is, given proper permissions. Have you tried the File | Open | Other User's Folder command?
