Hello

From Start > Computer > Windows Explorer > Organize > Layout > click Preview
Pane I'd like to see a Word document in preview pane without opening the
Word program but I get the message :

" Microsoft Office Word has stopped working - A probelm caused the program
to stop working correctly. Windows will close the progeam and notify you
if a solution is available. "

I wait for it but no solution is offered. So how best can I fix this error.
Thank you.

I had exactly the same experience some time ago, and never found a workable
solution. This and more Vista misery convinced me that XP (in my case at
least) is a better system. I have consequently gone back to XP prof and
enjoy using this OS tremendously, fast, safe and easy to use.

Problem is not inherent in Vista as that feature works fine on my system.
Vista Home Premium, Microsoft Office Word 2007.

What version of Word and what type of document file (i.e. the extension) are
you trying to open. If you open that particular document in word does that
work?

With Office Word 2003, I don't see a preview in Explorer. No error message,
it just says "No preview available".
