How do I view a list of all the holidays in Outlook 2007? I have searched its
"Help" and "Support" section, as well as Office 2007 Outlook "Support". I get
every possible answer EXCEPT what I'm looking for. THANK YOU to anyone who
can give me a straight simple answer.

Open Outlook, choose Options from the Tools drop down menu, click on the
Preferences tab, then under Calendar, click on Calendar Options. Under
Calendar Options, click on Add Holidays.
There are most major religions represented, plus holiday of many nations.
Check those that you wish to be included, and click OK. OK and OK.

Many times national holidays and religious holidays will be the same and
both will appear in your calendar.

Hello Chuck, THANK YOU for your response. The calendar with the list of holidays opened up BUT, they are all the holidays for 2005!!! How do I get the holidays for 2007? I have been using Outlook Express for years, as I have had so many problems with the complexities of Outlook. Now, I'm trying to learn how to use Outlook. Thanks again for your suggestions. You sound like you know what you're doing.

That's kind of odd. The file that should be on your system should have the
2007 holidays, but it's just a text file so really, anyone could replace the
file with an older one that had older holidays. Out of curiousity, what's
the date on the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\OFFICE12\1033\outlook.hol file? If you open it up in notepad, do you
see 2007/12/25, 2008/12/25 (and so on up to 2012)?

The article is for all versions, not just 2002.

He didn't add the holidays from 2007, he added them when he ran 2002 and
needs to add the new ones.

Ok, I guess I missed the post where he said he ran 2002. That page doesn't
actually say anything about Outlook 2007, hence my confusion. Why would one
download a file to add holidays for 2006-2012 for Outlook 2007 if it comes
with 2005-2012 holidays? Will Outlook 2007 not add holidays if you've done
it in a previous version of outlook? I thought there always was a bug that
you could keep getting multiple copies of holidays...

Outlook 2007 doesn't "add" holidays - you need to add them yourself. The
only duplicate holiday bug is with the user - each time you run the add
holiday wizard it adds holidays again as it just imports them from a text
file. It's nothing fancy and can't detect dupes or add holidays
automatically.
