How can I embedd a video into ppt so when you are click on
the link it runs IN the presentation instead of running
behind it. OR can you play the video within the
presentation itself??

Have you tried Insert > Movies and Sounds > Movie from File? Videos are
never physically embedded in a presentation, but this will play your video
right on the slide, not in another application. Is that what you want?
