Video won't import

I have an AVI video from a screen capture program that plays in the media
center but when I import it into Movie maker only the audio is present.
 
AVI files can be compressed with any of a number of different codecs.... if
one doesn't import it needs conversion to one that does. See the Import
Movie Source Files > Video section of my website.
