Video Vard apg

Want to install new video card with more memory.
Have a Dell PIII (Dimension XPS T500)
Many of the specs on the video cards require a AGP 2.0 slot. How can I tell
wether the APG slot on my machine (purchased in 2000) is AGP 1.0 or 2.0.

Also is the APG card designed for the 2.0 slot backward compatible ?

Contact Dell or check the Dell website to see if your system has an AGP
