video sound sync

I am having a problem with the sound and video sync when watching avi files
with windows media 10. When I first start playing the files the sound is in
sync with the video but as the video plays the sound drifts out. The only way
to cure it is to stop the video and restat it where I stopped it and they are
both in sync again. Please can anybody help me as this is really anoying

I am having the same exact problem. Have you figured out how to fix this or
does anyone know of a way?
