Video Settings

I have a XP Home SP1 machine that with two different brand of video cards
and chip sets will not save settings. The res reverts back to the lowest
possible. Anyone else seen this?

Yeah i have the same problem with my AMD Athlon 1800+
running an NVidia GeForce2 Ti...any suggestions?
