Video output changes each time I boot up

I have a pci express video card, and a video output on my mother board. Each
time I boot up it changes from one to another. If I have it plugged in to one
it I can't see any video, but if I switch it to the other output video is
there. I want to get it to boot up to my pci card each time. How do I do that?

Usually, it's a BIOS setting for the choice between PCI and AGP as the boot monitor.
