Video - No Ouput

Windows XP Home
After installing Windows on this machine, had it working fine except for the
modem. Shut down, removed the modem so I could get the model number
to download drivers. When I powered back up I got no video. The power
light on the monitor just blinks. I suspect it is the motherboard but
thought
I'd see if anyone here could provide some encouraging words.
The motherboard is an Amptron K7-810 XLM

Are you certain you didn't loosen the video card when you were poking around
inside the case?

Does the video work if you put the modem back in?
