Video image is musky...

I got a Samsung SCD23 and tried it out. The video looks good in the camera but after copying into my Sony laptop, it look musky(I have no better words)...the picture quality is bad but the audio is fine. I used the highest quality option in the Windows movie maker with no change. Any ideas...

Any resolution on this? I have the same problem when testing them out in several formats.....
