Video image in weird place

My wife and her daughter just got new logitec cameras. I've managed to
set up our equipment and do a Windows Messenger video/voice call to her
daughter but one thing is very weird.

When we establish the link the video image from my stepdaughter is not
in the upper right hand corner of Windows messenger screen (where it is
supposed to be) but rather it's in the far upper left corner of the
monitor's image.

I've also noticed that the "show my image as a picture in a picture"
option is checked (even though there is no little thumbnail picture
showing) and cannot be unchecked.

My wife's pc is an HP Pavillion running Win XP. I get the same results
when I establish a video/voice call between my wife's PC and mine. We
are all using Messenger ver 4.7.

Anyone out there have any ideas??

Thanks

Taylor

Greetings Taylor,

I've seen this issue before, unfortunately I'm not 100% sure whether the problem was the
fault of the webcam driver or the display driver, but upgrading both may be helpful.

If you're not interested in doing that, both of you might consider upgrading to MSN Messenger
which provides not only better voice/video, but should fix this problem as well:
