Place the video on the timeline first.
Right click the audio for the video and select MUTE.
Drag the audio you want in it's place to the audio/music portion of the
timeline.

Thanks. In this case I just wanted to replace video on the timeline over the
existing audio. Is there any way of just inserting the video and "locking"
the audio track?
Not really.
You can cut the old video in the places you want to keep audio then drag IT
to the Audio/Music portion but then you need to try to make the clip exactly
the same size as the replacement and drag the replacement into the spot the
old video was then mute the replacement audio. It is much easier to put it
there first.
