Video Driver nvidia

I am building a pc out of a few old bits and all works fine apart from
the Video driver, Windows XP can't find a driver for my AGP card.
Everest has Identified it as a Nvidia Vanta Card, but when I download
the Vanta driver from the nvidia site and rub it, it says

"Setup cannot find any drivers compatible with your hardware and will
now exit"

Anyone got any ideas please, the generic driver is working, but is
very slow and gerky at scrolling pages.

TIA

You either don't have the correct driver (71.89_win2kxp_english), or
don't have the card you think you have. Does the card have any
identifying label on it?

It is a Vanta card, and I am using '71.89_win2kxp_english' file.
