video driver issues

I am trying to install new video drivers for a new card and I get device
installation error: The data is invalid. I've tried 3 different vid cards,
all with the same result. Any ideas?

Not to be a PITA, but the video card manufacturers have detailed
installation instructions on their web sites.

If the motherboard has integrated graphics, did you remember to disable them
in the BIOS?

Exactly what is the text of the error message and which card(s) are you
trying to install which which interface.

Uninstall the old drivers before proceeding. Consult the website of the
cards' manufacturer.
