You're confusing PCI and PCI Express. They aren't similar, regardless of the
name.

PCI is NOT the same as PCI-Express. The current standard for video card
slots on newer motherboards is PCI-E (PCI-Express) which uses a 16x PCI-E
slot for the PCI-E based video card. On such motherboards, there is no AGP
slot, because it is an outdated slower standard for video cards. (You can
still find a few older motherboards that still offer AGP slots, but do not
offer PCI-E slots.)

That's funny, my PCChips MB has both plus onboard video.

AGP is considered an older standard now. PCI-E is the newer standard,
has faster data transfer rate and so many recent mobo's include PCI-E
slots rather than AGP. I have never seen a board with a PCI-E slot and
an AGP slot on the same board, but there are still some PCI slots on
boards today that have PCI-E for the video slot. Get the difference?
