Video Cards, Why do they not work in XP?

One year ago I purchased an ATI Xtasy 9200 SE 128mb 4 pipeline excelorator.
When I installed the software I got a message telling me I did not install
any drivers even though I installed the drivers directly from the
installation disk. I went to Windows download site and downloaded the latest
upgraded drivers for that card. I recieved another message telling me I did
not install any drivers. Last week I purchased a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200.
Every time I try to install it I get a mesage telling me that Windows can not
start the video capture device. I unstalled it & reinstalled it more than a
dozen times. Each time I tried a different trick suggested to me by the
manufacturer. I desperately need a graphics excellerator. Is there one that
does in fact work with Windows XP Home Edition?

Seems obvious that it is time to seek the assistance of a professional. I
suspect you have major issues with your computer that are resulting in the
errors you are getting.

You need to take your computer to a reputable repair facility and have them
do it for you. The fact that *you* went to the windows site for drivers
instead of the manufacturer's page shows that you really don't have much of
an idea about what you are doing.
