Prior to upgrading my Pavilion N5340 from ME tp XP I had
the option to use my TV as my monitor via S-Video cable.
Any suggestions pertaining to reclaiming that option?

Download and install the video card manufacturer's WinXP-specific
video drivers.

DL pdf user guides. Clone mode is default so exact copy of
desktop will be on TV, on mine it comes in on a separate
input jack (cable, PC, VCR,... ) U'll have separate
Brite,Contrast,R,Y B controls 4 TV & monitor in v-card
driver.

U may want to extend desktop(where TV & monitor act as 1
monitor) vs cloning. Reason: u can park windows on monitor
while u work on others, like games, on TV.

I would save my profiles so u can revert to previos settings
& read & reread pdf user files. My driver has 40+ tabs & is
extrely powerful & complex. Some things u just gotta try to
see what they do.

v35 of driver had some problems but v44 works great. nVidea
drivers work better for me(as opposed to MSI who made
v-card) & r constantly updated.

Any advise given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes :)
