Video card upgrade?

I am running an old HP 763n with XP Home, An Intel P4 @2.53Ghz, 2TB of TOTAL
HD space, and I have the NVidia GeoForce4 MX-420 card. is it possible to
upgrade to a different, more powerful card for gaming? Or should I just seek
out a new computer?

Typically on an older AGP box like this the highest level of card you can
get is 7600GS AGP if you want to stay with Nvidia. Power supply may be an
issue, as these HP boxes were marginal at best.

Look in the machine/in the manual that came with the machine to see if you
have an available slot to put in a PCI/PCIe/PCIx/AGP card and then see if
any of those are better than what you have.

Better get a new machine. I don't know how you can even run on such an
antiquated, underpowered, low capacity box. Send the old unit to me
for recycling and I will take care of it for you.
