Is there a program that will allow me to capture video that I am viewing.
For example. If I am watching something on iFilm and want to save it to my
hard drive, is there a program that can do that?

Have a look at:
http://www.dirfile.com/freeware/video-capture.htm
This page seems to have a large collection of freeware video capture
programs.
