Video Capture Freezes

When I'm capturing video from a mini-dv cam using a USB cord that came with
the mini-dv cam, the image in moviemaker will freeze after a few minutes or
MB. When I play the clip in moviemaker, the sound continues, but the image
freezes. Any ideas?

Thanks PapaJohn. That's what's frustrating about this, it was working just
fine using the USB cable.

Mini DV camcorders work with Movie Maker with a firewire connection...
