via .NET 247

These "via .NET 247" messages come in batches and it is impossible to tell
when the original message was posted. No-one of the original posters seems
to react to any responses. I am just wondering if the posters have any idea
about their messages appearing here? Do they follow? Should we bother
answering?

use the origilan site to consult Microsoft Discussions Groups

Hi, Eliyahu.

The .NET 247 site saves user's posts and about once a month
batch sends them to the microsoft.public.* newsgroups.

Many users don't even know their questions have been
forwarded, and are not really expecting a solution any more.

You can safely ignore them.
I filter them out ( with an Outlook Express rule... )

OTOH, the site has very valuable post archives.
I frequently search the 247 site to research questions.

Yes, it is quite annoying because people waste their valuable time to answer
messages that are old and no longer followed.

Don't bother answering.
