VIA Bus Master ?

My Nephew wants me to ask the group for help. He is running XP Pro and every
time he starts the computer, a message pops up say it "Windows has found new
hardware, VIA Bus master IDE Drivers". He inserts the CD as asked, but it
doesn't find what it's looking for. I once had a similar issue with Win98 &
I think installing new VIA 4-in-1 drivers solved the problem. I told him not
to do anything until I asked this news group for help. Any ideas or
suggestions?

You have the right idea. Go to Via and get the 4 in 1 Hyperion drivers and they will automatically install. Good luck
