Vi$ta x64: 32-bit IE 7's Protected Mode

I recently re-installed my 64-bit Vi$ta Ultimate. Applied SP1 and other
important updates right after installation. Installed drivers....

Why the lag I experienced with the Protected Mode of 32-bit IE 7 now
disappeared?
