Is there any software that will monitor the GPU temp on a ATI Radeon

No, the 9800 Pros do not have temp sensors.

9800 Pros with the R350 cores don't. 9800 Pros with the R360 core do. That's
the 9800XT core, and many of the newer 9800 Pros have the R360. To enable
it, you have to reflash the BIOS with the appropriate and specific 9800XT
BIOS for that manufacturer. This also gives you the higher core/clock speeds
as well. Without the reflash, the R360 core won't give the signal.

I have the R350 so i guess I'm screwed! Thanks ATI

how exactly did you get screwed, it's not like the 9800 pro is supposed to
have a sensor, only the 9800 XT

Your are all wet on this statement.
Depends on if the video card has the LM63 chip (temp chip).
Modded 2 dif 9800 pro cards (r360 core) into full blow xt cards.
