Very weak signal

I recently set up a wireless network in my house. However, i have a
computer in my basement far away from the router. There is
practically no signal. What is the most cost-effective solution to
allow my basement computer to have an internet connection?

If wireless don't work because of signal fallout, then your only option left
is to run a CAT5 or CAT6 down to the basement from your router.
