I tried to install Diablo2 and the expansion pack on my
HP (driven by XP). Most of it installed, but I got the
error "unable to load function FT_Thunk (KERNEL32.dll)
I checked the file out. Under properties the language is
listed as Swedish. All my other dll files are English
(US). The file also was checked "read only" I unchecked
that but am leery to try to reinstall due to the language
discrepancy. I've searched microsoft knowlege base, error
files, message boards, the web, but cannot find an answer
or explanation for this anywhere. I surmise that this
must be my problem because my son has a nearly identical
computer and has succesfully installed his own game on
his computer. The only difference we've found between the
two is this dll file language listing. in the description
of this file it says Win32 Kernel. Please email me if you
have any information. This game is my youngest son's
birthday present. His birthday is tomorrow, so Please
help. and thank you very very much.
