Can anyone help...the buttons on Google and the dialog box have become almost
unreadable by virtue of size...it can be corrected by
[Page][Encoding][Western European(Windows)...but next search its back to
small text.

Cheers John

Set the encoding to AutoSelect, Unicode and see if that helps.

Internet Explorer uses Page, Text Size, not encoding.

Thank you all for your efforts...I solved it by reinstalling Vista (took two
hours without loss of any data or personal files)...however I still do not
know what caused the problem but suspect it started after an automatic
Windows update but do not know which one!

Go to your Menu bar in IE7, "view", then "text size"

if it's not the IE font size setting, then could also have been the system
DPI setting (available from right click desktop -> personalise)

No I tried that early on...it doubled the size of the rest of the text but
the buttons remained very small...

Since my reload of Vista I now have a problem with my output audio
device..its not there...the battle continues

My audio problem is now solved...I uninstalled the audio driver and
downloaded an update from Dell which did the trick...
