Hi,
I use Frontpage 2000, I have a problem
during editing. When I add an image for
the back ground (only 1K), scrolling up
and down will be very slow. The page
looks like frozen. If I toke the back
ground image out, everything will be fine.
How to solve this problem?
Thanks,

Hi Mark,

I recall that being a cache problem. Try the following:
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
Usually in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and %USER%\Local Settings\Temp
- in FP 2003 you need to log on as an admin (other than the NORMAL user name) and look in the super hidden folder
CO:\Documents and Settings\NORMALUSERNAME\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file hidden file CMDUI.PRF
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\FrontPage\State
4) Run a Repair on IE
(see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=318378 )
5) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, MS Office and your Video card
(Windows Update and Office Update sites, plus your video card supplier site)
6) Open FP and Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins,
7) Open your FP Web/Site and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks
